SYNTHETIC (ARTIFICIAL) FOOTBALL FIELDS

INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS

After the application works are completed in the area where the field will be constructed, the ground is leveled to reach the zero grade level.

The leveled ground is compacted with a vibrating roller.

After leveling works are completed, a 30cm deep excavation is done for the perimeter curb.

Two lower and two upper steel reinforcements with a diameter of Ø 12mm are placed in the mold and tied with stirrups of Ø8mm diameter at 30 cm intervals.

After the stirrups are tied, anchor pipes (Ø 89x3mm) are welded inside to the iron reinforcement and fixed at 3 meter intervals where the perimeter posts will come.

To drain the water from the field to the outside, PVC pipes (Ø 50mm) are placed inside the curb at 3 meter intervals.

Prepared concrete (C 20) or (C 25) is poured into perimeter molds to form a reinforced concrete curb.

After the curb concrete is completed, 10–15 cm high #3 (2 cm-3 cm) gravel is spread and compacted with a roller.

Once the compaction of the gravel is completed, #1 (5mm-12mm) crushed stone is spread to a height of 5-10 cm according to the surface code and a screed is drawn by hand.

IRON PIPE WORKS

Immediately after the completion of the infrastructure works, the pipes (Ø 89x3mm) placed in the concrete curb are fixed vertically to the pipes (Ø 76x3mm) at a height of 6 meters. To the pipes of 76 in 6-meter length planted, Ø 48x2mm pipes are welded horizontally at the bottom, middle, and top.

In the corners, behind the goals, and on the long sides, pipes (Ø 48x2mm) are diagonally welded.

To both illuminate and increase the steel strength of the field, 4 pieces of pipes (Ø 76x3mm) with a height of 7 meters are fixed on the long sides of the field. These pipes are mounted to the steel construction in a ladder system.

A hinged door made of (Ø 48x2mm) pipe is made at the desired location of the field.

Goal posts are manufactured to the dimensions of the field using (Ø 89x3mm) pipes.

The steel construction is used in the desired color with industrial paint and anti-rust preventive.

NET WORKS

The sides of the field and behind goals are covered with a net made of 100% polyamide yarn number 90-120, with 120x120mm mesh spacing, resistant to sunlight and harsh winter conditions at 4 meters height.

The top of the field is covered with a net made of 100% parachute yarn number 66, with 150x150mm mesh spacing, resistant to heat and wear.

Goals are covered with a net made of 4 mm 100% polyamide yarn with 120x120mm mesh spacing.

WIRE FENCE WORKS

The surroundings of the field are enclosed with a 4-meter-high galvanized and PVC-coated wire mesh with 3.5 mm thickness and 50x50mm mesh spacing. Steel cables of 5 mm are stretched for the backs of the goals with 4 rows, and for the long sides with 3 rows, preventing slack by fixing with clamps.

ARTIFICIAL (SYNTHETIC) GRASS CARPET

A felt is spread by wetting over the number one gravel with a screed pulled. The Artificial Grass Carpet is spread over the laid felt. (Technical specifications vary according to the Carpet Varieties) The laid artificial grass' joints are adhered with a 20 cm, and the spaces between lines with a 30 cm wide seam tape using adhesive. Over the laid carpet, silica sand is spread at 25 kg per square meter and brushed into the carpet. After the silica sand, SBR granules at 8 kg per square meter are spread and brushed into the carpet. After brushing the spread sand and granule material, the field is delivered ready for play.
